The HW-1004 is a pyroelectric infrared sensor module that detects infrared variations. Detection of heat sources other than the human body, or no heat source temperature changes and the movement of the case may not be able to detect. Need to pay attention to the following general matters. Be sure to confirm performance and reliability with actual usage status.
1.When detecting heat sources other than the human body
(1) Small animals enter the detection range
(2) when the sun, car headlights, incandescent lamps and other far-infrared direct sensor
(3) When the temperature of the detection range changes drastically due to the warm air of the cold room apparatus, the cold air and the water vapor of the humidifier, etc.
2. Difficult to detect heat source

3. When the detection area is expanded

4. About other uses
(1) When there is dirt on the window, it will affect the detection performance, so please be careful.
(2) The lens is made of a weak material (polyethylene). When the load or shock is applied to the lens, it will cause malfunction and performance degradation due to deformation and damage, so please avoid the above situation.
(3) When applying static electricity of ± 200V or more, it may cause damage. Therefore, please pay attention to the operation, to avoid direct contact with the terminal and so on.
(4) In the case of welding the wire, the soldering is carried out at a soldering iron temperature of 350 ° C or less and within 3 seconds. When welding with solder bath, it may cause deterioration of performance, so please avoid.
(5) Avoid cleaning the sensor. Otherwise the cleaning fluid intrudes into the lens, which may cause deterioration of the performance.
