Non-repeatable Trigger Mode: After the sensor outputs a high level, once the delay period ends, the output will automatically change from a high level to a low level.
Repeatable Trigger Mode: After the sensor outputs a high level, within the delay time period, if there is human body activity within its sensing range, the output will remain high until the human body delays and leaves. Then, the high level changes to a low level. (The sensing module automatically delays for a delay period after detecting each activity of the human body, and the time of the last activity is the starting point of the delay time.)
Product Model | HW8002 | Batch can be customized | ● The level of the output is not an absolute value. The change of the ambient temperature will have a slight influence on it, and an error value of about ±0.5V may occur. ● Modules are reserved CDS photoresistor interface for light control functions; ● Other customized items may add additional costs. It is recommended to maintain regular parameters. Please discuss and communicate with relevant staff for specific matters. |

For optimal performance, position the pyroelectric infrared sensor at a height ranging from 2.0 to 2.2 meters above the ground. It is important to avoid placing the sensor near air conditioners, refrigerators, stoves, or other areas with rapid air temperature changes.
Ensure that there are no obstructions within the sensor's detection range, such as screens, furniture, large bonsai, or partitions. Clearing the detection area will prevent any interference that could affect the sensor's functionality.
Avoid directly facing the pyroelectric infrared sensor towards windows to prevent false alarms caused by external factors like hot air currents or movements of people. If necessary, use curtains to minimize interference. Additionally, refrain from installing the sensor in locations with strong airflow.
Consider the directional sensitivity of the sensor in relation to human motion. Pyroelectric infrared sensors are least sensitive to radial movements and most sensitive to lateral movements in the cross-cut direction. Carefully select the installation location to avoid false alarms and ensure optimal detection sensitivity.
By adhering to these proper installation practices for pyroelectric infrared sensors, you can enhance their performance and accuracy in various settings.
