1. Product Overview:

2. Product working principle:

The HW-AC100 microwave induction module uses a planar antenna to transmit and receive high-frequency electromagnetic waves based on the Doppler effect principle, and then detects a small movement change in the return wave, and then triggers the microprocessor to work. Finally, the AC relay makes the 220v / L guide Pass band AC load circuit to 220v / N.

3. Product Features:

Professional flat micro-strip antenna design, field-shaped signal transmission and reception, wide coverage, high consistency, low power consumption, ROHS environmental protection, and strong anti-interference ability, not affected by temperature, humidity, airflow, dust, noise, light and dark, etc. .

When this product is used indoors, the sensing effect is better; when it is used outdoors, the sensing distance is slightly reduced or the sensitivity is weak due to the influence of the environment. This is a normal phenomenon, and users do not have to question the product. 

4. Induction time:

Default repeatable trigger: If the trigger signal is triggered again in the sensing area after the first trigger, the module delay time will be superimposed again when the first trigger time is not stopped (such as: the module trigger time is 2S, and it will be accepted again within 2S) To the induction signal, superimpose 2S again, and there will always be an output signal when triggering continuously. Non-triggerable triggering: Inductive trigger once, no time superimposed (such as: time 2s, trigger once, output 2s, within 2s) Regardless of multiple triggers are considered invalid, the time is not superimposed and maintained for 2s.

5.Product wiring diagram and CAD drawing

As shown in the figure, for AC100, the red wire is connected to 220v / L, the black wire is connected to 220v / N, the green wire is connected to one end of the AC load, and the yellow wire is connected to the other end of the AC load. The sensor will be in the working state. The internal relay K will conduct the RL (LOAD) circuit to N, so that the light bulb is in a light-emitting state. If you need to adjust the distance and time, you need to power off first, and then adjust the adjustable resistor on the back of the module according to regulations.

6. Angle and radiation pattern:

As shown in the figure: The reference diagram is obtained by the measuring instrument. The actual sensing area is based on the indoor 100 m2 angle range. Due to the close relationship between Doppler radar microwave and space, the actual application needs to define the detection range and angle according to the application environment (the smaller the microwave detection range, the higher the sensitivity, and the larger the space, the sensitivity will be relatively attenuated). working principle:

This sensor is used for object movement detection. When the 220V AC power is input from the red line and the 220V AC power is input from the black line, the sensor enters the working state and the red indicator light is on. At this time, if an AC load (bulb) is connected to the yellow line and the green line, the load will be prompted In working condition. If the light receiving light is working, the blue signal light on the module will light up, indicating that the day mode will make the load stop working. (This state is only limited to the time when the module delay expires, the photosensitive receiving light is effective).

8. Note:

● About the installation process requirements of the product

During the product installation test and actual assembly, please keep at least a 10mm space in front of the antenna board (S-shaped opening PCB) of the module product. It must never be close to or touch the plane of any object, otherwise the product will not work properly.

● About power

It is recommended to use a qualified AC220V power supply.

● About false positives

1. To ensure the qualification of the power supply, please refer to the first item above;

2. When testing, make sure there are no moving objects around the product to be tested (within the sensing range);

3. There is an initialization time of about 10s after power on. During this period, it is an abnormal induction, which may cause false positives;

4. In the indoor test, the induction is relatively sensitive, and the surroundings need to be static, and the next test should be performed after the first induction signal period is over. When outdoor testing, you must pay attention to the dynamics of the surrounding environment, such as flying birds, Pedestrians, passing vehicles, etc .

● Adjustment of work delay: You need to turn the screw to open the shell, and customize it according to the specifications of the specification.

● Induction distance adjustment: You need to turn the screw to open the case, and customize it according to the specifications of the specification.

● The shell assembly of this product

The metal case is not easily penetrated by microwaves and infrared rays, so this product should be avoided to be installed in the metal case. However, obstacles such as plastic, ceramic, and woody soil have better penetration effects. For details, please refer to the test.

● Mutual harmony of this product
