NTC heat dissipation coefficient.Led PIR Sensor wholesale

source:Industry News release time:2022-06-25 Hits:     Popular:Infrared sensing module

The heat dissipation coefficient (δ) refers to the power required to raise the temperature of the thermistor element by 1°C by self-heating in a state of thermal equilibrium.

The values in the specifications are generally typical values measured in still air at 25°C.

      Maximum power

At rated ambient temperature, the maximum power that can be continuously loaded with load, also known as "rated power".

It is usually a value calculated from the following formula with a rated ambient temperature of 25°C.

Rated power = heat dissipation coefficient × (maximum operating temperature -25°C)

Thermal response time constant corresponding to changes in ambient temperature

It refers to the time required for the thermistor element to produce a temperature change of 63.2% of the temperature difference between the initial temperature and the final temperature when the ambient temperature of the thermistor changes rapidly under zero-load conditions. When the ambient temperature of the thermistor changes from T1 to T2, the following relationship exists between the elapsed time t and the temperature T of the thermistor.

The constant τ is called the thermal response time constant.

In the above formula, if t=τ, then (T-T1)/(T2-T1)=0.632.

In other words, as described in the above definition, the time required for the thermistor to produce a temperature change of 63.2% of the initial temperature difference is the thermal response time constant.
