Thermistors are ubiquitous, air conditioning temperature measurement, heating and temperature control, protection and temperature limit are all based on thermistors. Thermistors are widely used because of their low cost and simple structure. The resistance value of thermistor varies with the change of temperature, and different partial voltage can be obtained by changing the resistance value, thus indirectly converting the temperature value. According to the temperature range measured, different reference resistors need to be selected, so that the optimal acquisition linear segment can be obtained. From the relationship of the change of thermistor, it can be divided into positive temperature coefficient and negative temperature coefficient. Positive temperature coefficient means that the temperature increases and the resistance decreases, while negative temperature coefficient means that the temperature increases and the resistance decreases. In the field of temperature measurement, negative temperature coefficient, or NTC, is usually used. Because of its good linearity and small error in measurement, NTC is the most widely used.
